Clouds rolling down from the top of Table Mountain , I was transported back to my birthplace in Hong Kong as it also is surrounded by mountains and the ocean. So as promised, I have brought back many new ideas for my work, and I am in the middle of create a new series of paintings inspired from this trip. Stay tune for my Spring exhibition in late April.
Also, I met a group of talented local Artists, designers, and curators at my recent visit to something called fashion pop up near the paint bar.

My Space : )
If you are looking for a unique and personal painting experience, or simply want to chill and be present in your "Me Space", My Inner Child Paint Bar Studio is the place to be. All classes are run by Claire, the artist and owner of this stylish midtown paint and sip artistic hub! Claire is passionate in creating what she calls the "3rd place". The idea first came to her when she was a mother of two young kids while advancing her career in the world of finance. To balance her family and work lives, she was constantly looking for a "Me space" or her 3rd place to stay close to her love of painting. Her soul food! All her life, she has loved numbers as much as colors. An odd combination some might say. Claire comes from a big extended family spilt between analytical brains and artistic minds. She has doctors and engineers for uncles and an opera singer and painters for aunts. Her dad, the oldest of nine siblings, became a Fine Arts professor and taught Claire painting from the age of 5 into adulthood. He also inspired her to balance her passions for math and the arts.
